I don't know what's more entertaining, Michael Moore's movies, or conservatives' hatred of him

i don't know they tend to be quite misleading,
its like propaganda pretty much.

i prefer my documentaries to give both sides and be fair,
moore's are very much biased, but at the same time they're entertaining for sure and a certain amount of good information can certainly be gleamed from them.

I will admit his films are worth watching and engaging...but do not completely hold to the truth which turns me off, especially when his role is to "uncover the truth." Plus i find it annoying that even after you see that its not completely true...he pushes it so much...ehh...with him, i would rather watch a bootleg version online than go out and watch it

His films are entertaining, if having a somewhat loose standard for truthiness.

I couldn't agree more. He claims to be on a quest for truth, but then he spits out bulls*** that he tries to pass off as fact. I do think he's entertaining, but I wish he would back off the conspiracy theories for five minutes and put some real logic and fact into his "documentaries".

I wonder why CEO's who do see him come off as truth evaders (such as Nike) and Ceo evaders who don't see him (too many to name) come off as truth evaders...perhaps that's Moore's agenda?

.... Hes like that new Mall cop movie... If he was not fat, it would not be funny.

What hes TRYING to say is good, I just don't think he is the best spokesperson to be doing it. Little to over the top for me. I do watch his movies but I tend to laugh more at him then with him at times.

If your a fan of Michael Moore's films, try "America: Freedom to Fascism" on for size, by Arron Russo. The film is the real deal, and just tells a tail that every American should make themselves familiar with.

Arron Russo points out in this film that Moore isn't quite getting far enough into 'who dun it' to the American people. Great film, and strongly recommended for everyone that thinks that our economic woes are just happenstance.

Michael Moore's films are a documentary just like Finding Nemo, except at least Finding Nemo has some truth to it. lol

Ugh, no. In fact, despite your recomendation, Bowling For Columbine is the very movie that proved to me Moore is a hack. Any Coloradan who paid attention to the movie could tell you several mistakes off the top of their head (an example, Moore made it seem like the Lochead (spelling?) factory in Littleton makes missles when in fact it makes rockets for launching satellites into space). In fact, the creators of South Park (also from Colorado) felt so insulted about their depiction in the movie that they used Moore's depiction in TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE as payback.

A couple quick links to the film mentioned in my above post.

The links to this shocking film:

The Wiki Bashing of the film can be found here:

This is a film I would like to see discussed, as it falls into this threads topic in spirit if not name, lol.

I like him. The more he sensasionises the better. At least it makes you think about the subject.

Yes, but it also subjects the audience to false information and brings them to false conclusions as a result. Most people won't watch one of his films and then go away and research the subject, they'll just feel smart because they watched a "documentary" and it instructed them to believe this or that. Unfortunately not many people even care. They pretend to, but they still take all their opinions from other people rather than reasearching many people's opinions and drawing their own conclusions from that.
