Although they want to put it in the 2012 ballot so citizens can vote on it. I'll be 18 by then and I'll be DAMN sure to vote for it!

What I mean is it wasn't anyone's business to disapprove it in the first place.

Erm.....wait, with one exception. Christian preachers have all right to turn down a gay marriage because they worship a conditionally accepting god and it would not be sticking to their plot to marry two same-sexed people.

However anyone wanting to marry through other officials should've never even been questioned.

Some people are acting as though it will, but by and large they're being ignored. Currently 53% of Marylanders approve of marriage equality.. It's expected to be signed into law in the next few weeks and to become available on October 1st. By the time it goes to referendum, we'll already be married, and nobody will care, and it should stay law.

Otherwise, there will be another fight that will end up in the Supreme Court along with California.
