Loner

Constant single cycle
Meet a woman
Fall for her
Lose hope after welcoming fear
Lose interest and welcome hate
After each cycle
I tend to feel worse than before
I guess I've been a loner for so long
It's impossible to break the cycle
Whoever God has for me
Has yet to be found
Or is it just that luck despises me
Chooses to punish me for my past
And laugh at my misery
I don't want to be alone anymore
I wish to have a genuine smile again
And to stop shedding tears in silence

I don't know very much about poetry, but I think your poem was free verse because there was no discernible rhyme scheme.

I hope you know that you are enough & your worth does not depend on finding a lady.
