I think that we earthlings should shoot a rocket to Mars and "seed" it with algae, fungi.mushrooms, and lichens.

If they take hold, they will enhance the Martian atmosphere with oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Over time we can gradually "seed" Mars with more and more complex forms of life...thus creating the environment that "we" want.

Then we can travel to our own man-made paradise...put a few people there...and give them a pre-made religion where by they worship "us"....earthlings.

our scientists probably would figure out a way. they figure out how to grow things in spaceships. they design greenhouses to put on mars. I know that nasa or scientists has a billion project that has growing foods. I can't remember the name of it. I think has to do with clone hybrids in those lines. I read articles years ago about that like mri shape much bigger than mri. there is a slots on the wheel, each slot has a plants in it. this wheel hold about more than 100, it constantly goes in a circle. to iminate the conditions of no gravity situation. the project is for space flights as possible to provide food to starving countries. if they are colonies of people on mars, wouldn't be allow get any resources out their building would dangerous them.

My question is how do the KNOW that it's water? Scienctist are still discovering new elements here on earth. Why do they believe it's h2o? It could be a liquid of unknown elements?

Have they subjected it to tests yet to determine what it is?

I believe anything is possible. Billions of trillions of years ago Mars may have been a dazzling planet with major metropolitan areas much like earth.

I think they're going by the changes in the photos taken of Mars.
