On November 16th the Leonid meteor shower will peak. It should produce about 15 bright meteorites per hour. Enjoy the show weather permitting.

I've been waiting for it, though it gets less impresive each time (obviously).

Here's hoping for a clear sky.

Which way should we cast our gaze? Out of the Southwest?

The Leonid meteor showers of 1966 and 2001 were especially memorable for the amount of meteors that appeared. I am not sure when the next great one will be.
