Kudos changes

It'd be nice if the neg notification was optional. So those that want to see them can and those who don't can't.

I'm not complaining though!

Do you remember the night, perhaps it was a year or more ago, they brought back neg kudos again and we each had wine, got tipsy and laughed our asses off at all the negative kudos we got. We loved it. I am so giddy with excitement right now. NEG KUDOS ARE BACK BABY! I wish I had wine for tonight to celebrate.

Yup. The tradeoff being that it doesn't affect your points or reputation.

What does this mean for TFS+? I mean, when it was introduced, wasn't it originally the only place you could give negs after there was that incident where random people would join solely to mess with other people's Kudos list?

TFS+ will remain closed at this point.

So, if we don't get to see the reason for the neg kudos, is there a need for neg kudos reasons?

I may use it to develop more automated filters. So if posts marked as spam usually have a certain characteristic that other posts don't, I could use that information to better identify spam.

Can you make it an option for us to be able to decide if we want to see them? Might be fun being able to see why you are getting a neg kudo and a notification letting you know?

Just a question....if the answer is no....the answer is no. No biggie!

I also like the idea of being able to see it if we choose. I can kind of understand wanting to keep the giver anonymous though. I can see that being both a positive and a negative. But I think seeing the reason for a negative kudo can also provide posters with feedback as to what other people dislike about their postings.

Either way, thanks for this. They were gone when I first started here, but I know all the oldies have talked a lot about them. I'm interested to see how it goes.
