Emo is a slang word to define a person who is into 'EMOtional' music. Emo music is basically music which appeals to depressed and disaffected teenagers who think it's cool to be rebellious and cut themselves and cry about their lives to the rest of the world.

thank you. been wondering for a while and tryingt o work it out. ta.

I dont get the difference between a goth and an emo

As for the music, music todays taken on a twisted turn....if its not about guns, drugs, its some half naked bird girating or its about killing/tormenting yourself.

Utter poo!

Well. I can't say I won't be glad when it's gone. But at least it's not this whole gangster, kill your friends, type music.

be, just dont continually jam your f***ing 'tragedies' down our throats was the point I was
trying to get across

You don't wanna hear about their tragedies? Don't listen.

Good idea. Except one slight problem. When you are surrounded by these people day in day out constantly crying out for attention it's pretty difficult to wade through the crap (especially on a forum) to get to the realistic stuff. I mean just last week someone made a topic going "nobody likes me mwahhhh " etc... cant exactly ignore that mate.

I did LMAO

I looked at the link, rolled my eyes, thought how pathetic, then looked for another topic to check out

there is a place for personal tragedy and problems on forums ive posted a few myself its the 'please feel sorry for me' attitude im not keen on. it sort of links to the thread about bisexuality being a fashion in that its fashionable to be depressed these days and tell everyone you are depressed.
im not having a go at people who are depressed/struggling because its a terrible place to be.
