Japanese Animation/Manga

Browsing through the different topics in this forum site, I've yet to find a topic dealing with one of my favority passtimes, watching japanese animation!

Here is to hoping that someone on this site will notice this thread and have something to say about an anime they just watched or a manga book they just got done reading. I love the culture and variety genres that revolve around japanese anime/manga, and I would love to talk about it with someone else (outside my house lol).

I have a few favorite animes here and there, some of which are Deathnote, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Clannad (both series). There are many more that I've watched, and read, not to leave any other popular titles out.

.... and if there are no fans of japanese animation or manga out there, at least leave one pity post so that I know this thread is dead before it even started thanks!

how nifty! upon making this thread, some suggestions came up that are related to it. I'm going to check it out!

Just as I thought, most of the other threads are either dead or not talking about anime/manga currently. I'll check this thread every once and a while to see if someone responds.

I can't remember what it is called...but I came across a manga that is very interesting. It is about this girl that is the famous Sherlok Holm's family. She basically runs around solving mystery's. I picked it up and started reading it in my local book store but I couldn't buy it. I want to get it so bad. Which is weird because I normally can't get into any of the NEW stuff.

Hmmm, that does sound familiar. I think I saw the cover of it once. Did it have a blonde little girl with a pipe? If so, I think it was called GOSICK or something. I've yet to check it out.

I'm following Fairy Tail. I wonder if anyone know it.

I'm not into Anime but I'd like to get into you.

My younger siblings seem to enjoy watching fairy tail. Looks like it is quite the comedy. I personally have not touched it yet, im focusing on others right now like Accel World and Toradora!

I don't really follow any manga or anime these days, but I used to be massively into Death Note.

I like Ghost in the Shell. I keep meaning to watch Guyver. But that is about it.

Oh and Appleseed

Ghost in the Shell, Guyver, Appleseed, Deathnote, those were some of my favorites when I started to watch japanese animation. I'm glad to see others enjoyed them too!

If anyone would be interested in watching so more quality anime, I could list some titles that I've come to enjoy.

Go for it, it's ages since I've had a series I could get into!
