Itunes- is there a way to link tracks to play together?

I was just transferring all my itunes over to a new computer, and doing other stuff to "clean up my library"

Does anyone know if there is a way to make a couple tracks stick together when shuffling? So that they always play together when the list is set on shuffle.

I'm fan of shuffling within certain playlists. But I have a few songs with "intros" that are separate tracks, so I sometimes get the intro and not the whole song, its kinda like a let down sometimes.

Am I SOL? or does anyone know how to do this?

I would think random shuffle would be just that, random. You might want to save them to your drive and use a progam like "sound recorder" that came with windows to join them them make them one large song.

Im ok with general random mixes, There are just songs that have like 30 second intros, that I would like to stick with the song they are attached to.

If they would just be considered one track from the CD that would be awesome.

And the songs that like 14 minutes long but have a 2I'm-3 minutes pause for a hidden song, also annoy me.

Yeah, I'm probably way to picky about my randomness

You'd probably need some software to combine them into 1 file.

The software that comes standard with windows will do it, its called sound recorder.

I have sound recorder, and I can record sound, but Im not seeing any editing options.

Microsoft says that it can edit, but no clue how and FAQ or help screen is less that helpful.

But a few other software options came up in the google search, so maybe I can figure something out. Thanks

under edit is a mixer deal, just add the two files, might have to be .wav??? I just did it with two wavs. I find lots of free cool software on tucows.com search for something mp3 join.. will look for you. https://www.tucows.com/preview/396569 https://www.audiovideosoft.com/

If you are not using a windows pc you might be SOL

I haven't used iTunes that much but it seems you can put something in the "grouping tags" of the songs you want linked and then edit the preferences for shuffle settings to shuffle by group-tag/link.

Not sure what they are but that's what I found online.

I literally just have a record button in the program, and no edit options, in the menu.

Though I do have a netbook, and its Windows 7 starter, so its not a full version of windows, but I will check on the other computers in the morning to see if its just my version that is limited.
