Well I guess it would have been more appropriate to suck it out with a syringe than taste it? Weird, but that is how stuff was done back in the day and noone batted an eye.

No. For one, she gave her consent. Second, the act itself was for medical purposes.

I agree whole heartedly with both of you.

Seems to me that he abused his position of authority. The Dr has all the tests available but chooses to suck his patients nipple to "test" the fluid. How, in the name of god,did he know what he would have been tasting. Unless of course he has "tested" this way before?

That's rather disgusting, he did it to 'taste the fluid'? God I'm glad I didn't go into medicine.

Another thought. Would he have been quite as willing to "test" a sceptic boil under an armpit to clarify what a fluid was?

what kind of crazy bastard would do that? Why throw away 7 years of medical school when you could express the fluid manually??

Sorry - he knew wayyyyy better than to put his mouth to her nipple.

I kind of find it hilarious. She gave her consent, so she can't really file any complaints now.

I'm digressing slightly here but one thought I had was if a doctor tells you to do something do you do it without thinking about it?

I mean I know very little about medical procedure so if a doctor told me the best way to diagnose something would be to have my nipple sucked I'd think it a little odd personally but perhaps some patients wouldn't think that. I mean you're scared, you think you may have cancer and sitting in front of you is someone who can tell you whether you do or not. Do you do what the Doctor says and give any permission regardless of how uncomfortable with it you are? If you do that then subsequently discover this isn't the correct procedure how would you feel? You may have given permission but where perhaps unaware that the doctor wasn't following protocol?

Yeah I can see what you mean,But she gave her consent, then claimed she was Molested??,it would be like you going to the Dentist sitting in the Chair with ya Cake Ole wide open,he pulls your tooth then you say he assaulted you, where's the difference.

The doctor should not be practising.

He cannot give a pathological result from taste.

He may well have contracted a virus through sucking fluid from people.

He has been entirely unethical in his methods and even asking permission from the woman in the first place.

Well, she did give her consent, so nothing that I can see being done about it now.

It was beyond wrong of him to do however, and I'm quite sure, very unnecessary in this day and age with the advanced testing available.

I would have liked to have heard more though, as to his 'reasoning'.
