Is the class division a necessary evil?

Would society colapse if communists and socialists got their way?

Communists and socialists got their own way!!! Russia, China are two such communist countries, it went tits up in Russia but still seems to be flourishing in China. Class division is inevitable until such times we have computers/robots to do all the work cause someone has to!!!

If commies and the like got theri way, I dont think society would nessecarily "collapse."

Society HAS worked before on communism and the like...but there is always a possibility.

There has to be classes. There will always be someone who makes more and someone who makes less than myself. There really is no way around it and the way that Americans are, they like it that way. We are a bunch of judgmental weiners!!!

There will never be equality...unless you make up your own little dream world.

Even under Communist regimes there is a class system even if different to the typical class systems.

An interesting thing about fascism is that while there is a Socialist bent to it, class is not disencouraged to preserve the incentive of small business which is seen as a necessity.

I beg to differ you see China is borderline capitalist country because of the "economic zones where free trading is allowed, I'm not against this buut i just don't think that they are being true to themselves as commuists particularly as there are millionaires in a country which by the very nature of it's government says that everything belongs to the state.

I dont think a totally classless society would happen, so what is neccesary, in my opinion, is to reduce the rich poor devide and make sure the working class get equil opertunities (which they do not, but i have to hand it to labour they have done alot of good, just not enough). I wuold describe myself as a democratic socialist, i beleive we should become more fair, and more equal, but only to the extent that society will still be able to function. and i think we should nationalise some key industries.
