Is it just me or do you think this is so wrong????

Ive just found out that my ex is having a fling with my daughters x best friend who my daughter cant stand. There are 2 reasons why I see this is wrong

1. Its my daughters ex best friend and he knows that she cant stand her and hes pushed his own daughter aside.

2 Hes 55 and shes 19. Hes old enough to be her father

Is it just me or do you think this is so wrong????

Hmmm it is a bit of an age gap for sure. Yes I do think it's wrong but at the end of the day its up to him and her what they want to do. Maybe he is doing it to try and make people jealous and letting them know he can still get women alot younger than himself lol.

Let them just get on with it, it most probably wont work out anyway.

Its gross and my daughter whos 16 is pissed. I know her parents they would have no idea about whats going on. She still lives at home.

Hopefully the 19 yr old will see sense and dump him, what future is there for her in this relationship?

The age has nothing to do with it. People should be allowed to be attracted to however the want to be attracted to. If both parties are consenting adults and not married to anyone else, then there is no problem.

Your 1st point (dating your/his daughter's ex best friend who she can't stand... yes, pretty trashy.

My dad is 80. His wife is 53.

As a comparison to @scardycat 's situation (ex-husband 55 and girlfriend 19), when my dad's wife was 19 my dad would have been something like 46. The difference is that my dad met his wife at the age of 76...she was 49... (if my math is right).

If my dad's wife is a "gold digger" she picked the wrong man, as isn't rich.

They seem to love each other.

She isn't my style, but I am not the one married to her.

They are consenting adults.
