yes, but his dad has to kill him. Or trick him into dying, or trick someone else into killing him first.

Yes... "his dad"... or "someone else"...

Correct, and in this way his martyrdom and teachings are trivialized as a "Gift from god" and "spoken through him by god." It perpetuates a control structure and takes away all credit from the man himself.

Who is it that is/has trivialized the martyrdom and teachings of Jesus?

Christians don't. In fact Jesus's martyrdom and teachings are literally the core of Christianity and lifted up by Christians by way of their entire religious belief system.

Given that the teachings of christianity are largely the words of Paul, not Jesus. None the less, christianity is literally based on Jesus' crucifixion (i.e. his martyrdom), and even Paul's words are at least partially derived from the teachings of Jesus.

i think back then, god believe that jesus first, not him. the people might not understand his concept like they did with jesus. maybe, god thought he came down himself being kill before the people understand him.

god forced himself to send down jesus, not choice, by disciple and principle.

God not having a choice is a novel concept. Foolish, but novel.

Would you force yourself to have your child murdered when you could step up yourself?

Are you as immoral a person as the god you follow?

Do you think God sent Jesus to die? Jesus died a martyr for a belief. Isn't the RC Church coming up with a story (360 years later) about how God sent him to die simply stealing the man's thunder?

I am not a literalist so all I can do is analyze the literal view.

The myth has Yahweh choosing to have Jesus die.

Do you see that as good morals or evil ones?

The Jesus is the son of god stuff predated the RC church.

True, but the older Jewish myth and prophesy showed an angel dying and not a man-god, which is what Constantine made of Jesus, as you seem to recognize.

That angel dying and resurrecting did not mention anyone dying for our sins.

It is evil for us to abdicate our responsibility for our sins and no decent moral god would ask us to do such a satanic thing.

They'll be fine. My parents prioritized their marriage. It was up to us kids to watch and learn. They led by example. I do the same with my kids and now grandchildren.

If I remember, I'll tell my sons that some French smarty-pants took a swipe at my parenting technique. They'll get a laugh and for this I thank you.

GOD DOESN'T CARE ANYMORE!

True.

The victims Christianity creates do.

If you live by the Golden Rule, you too will care.

It seems you don't.

The common thread is infanticide, and blaming someone else for it. You should be able to figure out the story of the crucifixion from that.

I agree that Yahweh had Jesus clean up the mess Yahweh himself created and it is immoral to abdicate ones own responsibility for ones actions.
