Is CNN really the most trusted name in news? Not according to their ratings.

Ratings are popularity contests. Trusted or true has no bearing there.

It was totally fair.

It is fair to cut the video so as to make a person guilty when they are not?
Right-wing logic. Figures!

If it's not trusted or true, that's going to lead people away from watching it.

I said no, but I wish there was an option that said no/don't care like there was for don't know/don't care. Also, there's no such thing as fair and balanced news period.

O'reilly is commentary, not news.

You do know that, don't you?

But he is still on the Fox News Channel which asserts itself to be "fair and balanced" and O'reilly himself constantly uses the phrase "the spin stops here."

That is the type of statement you'd find as an example of a blatant fallacy.

Very very difficult to find unbiased media, you see most people like to watch the news that suits them, and read newspapers that favour their political leanings.

In the UK the BBC is funded by the Government so that cant be completley unbiased can it?

Personally i find channel 4 news in the UK probably the most honest source for TV news.

Its a fact that FOX leans to the right and CNN to the left.

Its nice to see that people actually question the news.

Misleading? You want to talk about misleading, how bout that liberal motherf***er Obama saying he's not going to do anything with our gun rights before he was elected? And what's he trying to do now? So the dumb f***ing liberals are the misleading ones.

I think it's funny that nobody has responded to this, teddy.

Why'd you link to a site defining Red Herring? You think we're too dumb to know what that word means?

You will have to show me that. I've not seen anything on it.

not really, a lot of people like listening too stuff that "confirms" their beliefs, rather then having their beliefs challenged.

popularity has absolutely no bearing on quality.
