No. It's 60,000 at least or you go to jail.

Well if the online convertor is correct, that makes it £32,080 British money. I would kill to be a single person with that income. I currently live off a third of that so I would assume yes it is more than expected that $50,000 would provide a good living. If that has converted right that is

Depends on where in the US. If you live in San Francisco, you'd be considered poor on 50,000 a year, but if you lived in Forth Smith, Arkansas, you'd be a rich person

Totally agree. Don't know why anyone would settle for less.

Oh, that's not good.

My work would be too dangerous if I was drunk. Too many sharp knives and machines.

Yeah, my biggest risk is dropping a book on my head and paper cutting myself to death.

That in itself is torture.

I'll save you a few days' trouble.

$40,000 a year-- yes
$30,000 a year-- in most places, yes
$20,000 a year-- Maybe..really depends on where you live
$10,000 a year-- No, not really.

Is there a point coming?

What one considers poor is what another may consider rich or comfortable. It depends on what you want and where you live.

I would be quite content to be living off that amount of money per year and wouldn't complain.
