Sarah could do it that way yet, or sit there with a hairdryer

I slept on top of mine lol, though in fairness the floor is probably as comfy as an army bed.

They're so narrow!

I don't find the beds that uncomfortable. I just can't stand the yellow sweat stained pillows you get.

I use them as extra pillows and tuck my head into my sleeping bag so that I don't actually touch any of the pillows!

Lol they're yummy

I remember when I first joined cadets noone told me to bring a sleeping bag. And in fairness I forgot a couple times, so i just had to grin and bear it. They don't keep you remotely warm though.

I've forgot mine a few times and ended up sharing with Mandy, sharing a one person sleeping bag is not brilliant. The army issue sleeping bags are pretty good, I never use mine though, it's far too bulky, I have nicked my brothers!

I don't like the army issue ones...When I went on exercise there were a few of us who didn't have ponchos or basher sheets, and we ended up with 3 of us under one basher and it was PISSING it down and I got drenched as did the sleeping bag because parts of it are not waterproof

When I was in Germany I had my bivvy bag nicked so we ended up having to hot bag it, but I'm usually in the CV on exercise so we just sleep in the front of a rover, I haven't been in the field properly in ages!
