Ipod to Itunes

I just had my computer all fixed up. So all of my s*** is gone.

Does anyone know of a free program to get songs off your ipod and on to your computer? I can only find trial versions that will let you do like 5 songs.

Dont buy a program or anything. The link I posted (if its the right one, I didn't look it over hard HAHA) tells how to find the files on your iPod while its plugged into your comp! They are normally hidden. Once you find them you can transfer them to any folder you like. My bro just did this because his pod is dyin.

This itunes is a little different than the last version I had on here.

preferences is in control panel I believe. You are extracting directly from the pod. I dont think u even need iTunes open.

u can email apple and asked them thats what i did they were nice and wrote back asap

s*** it's not working. I could only get like 100 songs off of it. I have somewhere around 1500 on my ipod I think.

Then, plug in your iPod, and go into its mounted drive (should also have the name you gave it)

Then, copy the "Music" folder from (say I is the drive letter) I:ipod_control
