Internet "kill switch"

Best Buy would have a field day selling wireless sticks!! Maybe we should be more concerned with them shutting down the land lines?

You can have all the wireless sticks in the world, and if the servers are shut down those sticks won't do anything. lol

Can't shut down the servers in Canada, or Greenland, or the UK, or Japan, and we've got access to all of those right now. Hell.. it would take about 20 minutes for a hundred thousand 13 year olds to reconfigure their desktops into servers if it happened.. service wouldn't be fast, and there would be tons of porn and death metal music, but we'd still have service.

I can get internet service from Japan?

If you've got the right wireless feed you can. You'd probably have to go upstairs though.. it's all about signal strength, and the concrete walls in the basement probably block a lot.

If the internet is shut off naition-wide, I'm sprinting to Canada with my hard-drive on my back.

You know.... we've got maple syrup that comes form Vermont, New York, and Wisconsin.

But you gotta buy from other countries... No wonder so many people here are still unemployed.

Just this morning my boyfriend and I were discussing this. Right now we are using Vermont maple syrup. However the next bottle, the one in the cupboard, is from Costco and is made in Canada.

We have about a quarter cup or so left in the Vermont bottle. Give us a couple of weeks and we can weigh in on this debate with our opinion.
