Internet Explorer Users 'Have Below Average IQ'

PC World reports that a "psychometric consulting" firm called AptiQuant gave free online IQ tests to 100,000 people, and then plotted the scores against the browser on which the tests were taken.

It found that Internet Explorer users scored lower than average, while Chrome, Firefox and Safari users were very slightly above average. Camino, Opera and Internet Explorer with Chrome Frame were scored "exceptionally" high.

Makes perfect sense, though, and it isn't because they are not using one of the alternates. It is the other way around, as they are not using one because of the lower IQ.

Chrome and Firefox users must have the ability to find and utilize something that isn't already built into the MS operating system. Safari is built in to Apple's, but Apple computers are more expensive than PC's, requiring a better income to afford it.

I moved from Opera to Safari a few months back. Thought my grades where getting worse.

Another test would be to correlate IQs with ISPs. There'd be a jillion of them of course, but AOL would still have to be at the bottom.
