The debate over tax evasion by the wealthy and tax avoidance by multinational corporations has never before grabbed so many headlines.
Tax rules have not kept up with the realities of doing business in a globalized world. The gaps between domestic tax systems, combined with economic incentives and legal accounting practices allow some multinationals to pay little, or no corporate tax at all.
The G-20 intends to share information so that no one will be able to avoid taxation.

The television show, 60 minutes, had a story about this, but I don't recall seeing any headlines.
My guess is that no matter what governments say, some of them will still attract business by offering lower tax rates.
