If you saw "aliens" -- what would you do?

Now this can be in any situation.

You could be driving along the road.
Or they could land somewhere you were at.
Or you could wake up to one in your room.
You could be at church and one could walk thru the door.

How would you react?

Curiosity? (ask questions?)
Fear? (run?)
Violence (try to kill them?)
Shock? (frozen)
Open mind? (just watch..)
Desire? (actually walk toward them?)

Other? Grab your camera? Call your friend?

Seriously, what do you think you would do?

If possible, try to keep out of the way.

I am very nosy, I think I say hello and ask them a lot of questions.

probably freeze and hide. I would hope that aliens had more empathy for a life form other than themselves than people seem to have for life forms other than ourselves, but one cannot assume, so I'd get the hell outta there until I knew their tendencies. Think of the sick s*** people do to animals...would we just be animals to them?

What makes you think i think they aren't already here? Maybe this is why i asked. Want to know how humans might respond. Reconnaissance mission.

I would immediately approach them and attempt meaningful communication, making every effort to show that I am unarmed and mean no harm.

Why hide? If the aliens invade and want to destroy us, they will. If they want to make contact, how amazing would it be to immediately be friendly and be the first person in the history of mankind to approach and communicate with aliens?

well I'm a scaredy cat and I know I wouldn't approach one for the life of me. I wish I had the balls they might come in handy someday!
