At 135 per month per person, I don't blame them. I think they voted it down because there has to be a better way.

They have rejected the responsibility for the incredible excesses and idiocy of a few who SHOULD have known better, and I suppport them in that.
I don't care if that upsets the money-lenders, or what flow-on effects it has, I just wish the rest of us had the same chance to do that!
Perhaps THEN the greedy pigs ruining our world might just lift their heads from the trough long enough to actually THINK ABOUT the future, for the rest of us, instead of themselves.

but with thoughts like that; everyone looses. the "greedy pigs" will just get off the hook, especially if turmoil erupts- i mean the Icelandic gvt signed the loan; if they forfit then the UK and Dutch gvts coulld literally call in the repo men; they own the government structure of Iceland.

Its the same as a morgage on your house; you dont pay then they reposses it! nooone wants that to happen.

Meh, it is only because the way they have to pay, nothing more, I think they want to pay back the money, because they are scared that if they need help in the future, that they won't get it
