It was awesome for me, being able to see these guys work for the minute or so took me to walk around it so I could do some shopping at the other end of Union Street. Not so awesome for the victim though. He's not dead but he's critically injured.

I had to say, it piqued my curiosity. It was right beside on of the taxi ranks, which is the location of a lot of fights on Friday and Saturday nights (I saw one once) but in my year and 7 months of living here, I'd never seen a police cordon on Union Street, so I knew it was bad. So here's the story. clicky

There was a fatal stabbing at the top of my sisters street a few months back, they had the forensics team out, bloody interesting watching them.

I still badly want to study it but no time and limited funds

One day, that might be part of my job. It's weird thinking about it. But when I was watching them, they all had a little huddle and I saw that that was why my "team" got a good mark on our fake crime scene. They were discussing every step before they did it, just like we did.

Your so lucky and its a fantastic opportunity/career.

I'd love to study profiling or the more deviant side of crime, apparently there's a shortage in this country.

Not sure whether there is or not but it would be interesting. One of our lecturers has been trying to teach us a bit about criminal psychology so we can think like the criminal
