I'll bet everyone who supports marijuana being legalized is a stoner.

I can't think of a single reason why a non-smoker would want to support legalizing marijuana.

I support it, because I think that the war on drugs is a losing battle, a waste of time and money.

Because they don't like double standards in law.

They know it's less harmful then tobacco and alcohol.

They have friends that smoke it and know it nothing that bad.

I'm not a stoner and I strongly support the legalization. Not only because of economic reasons, but because of personal freedom. Our government feels that it has the right to keep us from smoking a plant... I say no f***ing way. That's a complete abuse of power. The government should know they can't (or shouldn't) control our lives that way, and the war for the legalization of marijuana is one way of showing them

Oh and I forgot to mention that the second hand smoke is less dangerous.

Indeed, personal freedom is what it really comes down to when discussing the legalization of marijuana, people should have the right to chose and pursue whatever makes them happy as along as they are not endangering the lives of people around them., that's when law should come into effect.

You are dead wrong.

I fully, 100% support the full legalization of marijuana and I have never touched the stuff.

The reason is that I believe in personal freedom. People should be free to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't negatively affect other people. And lighting up a joint in your living room has no effect on anyone else. I'd even argue that marijuana is significantly more harmless a drug than alcohol.

So, there. You lost your bet. Now what?

Exactly, it is pointless. Kind of like prohibition 1919-1933, people are just going to do what they want to do, might as well make it legal and tax it.
