Oh yes, matey. I have had the 'pleasure' of the odd verbal tussle with one or two smug little know-it-alls. 'Condescending' and 'rude' are two words that I could use, if I was so inclined...... Hate is too strong a word, but I certainly know what you mean.

Why should I? They've done nothing to me.

Definitely don't hate the smart people. But I can't stand the whiners.

I think smart-arses is the description I'd use, not clever people who give sensible answers, etc, but the somewhat know-it-alls who condescend to other people over their opinions or turn downright rude. Rare, I think, because TFS mainly seems to have pleasant people who know how to have a debate without getting too personal, but you'll always get one or two on an open forum, I suppose.

I think we're all smart in our own way.
