How to restore a dell insprion 531 with vista to factory settings?

Hi, I was wondering how to restore my dell inspiron 531 like i got it, I mean like nothing on it besides like the things it came with. Please help. I have no disk to restore it and I've tried doing ctrl f11 and i've been to the boot screen and presssed f2 and nothing has helped me, I've tried system restore and my latest restore point was not when i bought it. I know you can all help me. thanks.

Ohh, that costs a bunch. You need to pay someone $600 and that guy will do it. OR find the CD's it came with and use them. I know more or less how to do it. Its hard and takes hours though...

I think its $600. My dad did something similar for $600. I may be wrong, but unless your good with computers, your screwed out of $600.

dont listen to the person of uninformed position above me i got mine reformatted with a new copy of windows for ?50 you could do it for nothing if you have the windows backup disk, just put it in the drive and it should be straightforward.

Then gotta an idea if i could call them for my CDs??? Please, but it would be kinda weird, since they would be like "Wtf? A little kid calling for a disk? I just borrowed my mates on my last computer.. this one i made sure i got a copr lieing around.. but maybe worth getting windows 7.. is it out??

Alright i get it, but i heard of a guy that called Dell and said he misplaced them and they sent him the recovery disks about a week later. Sorry, but you think the same will happen to meh?
