Want to lose weight?

I've lost 10 pounds in the past 3 weeks.

Want to know my secret?

It's a doozy, I tell you. Best kept secret in the weight-loss industry. It'll blow your mind.

I've averaged 1700 calories a day and played tennis 3-4 times a week.

That's it. No low-carb diets. No grapefruit 3 times a day. No zero-carb, mega-high cholesterol and saturated fat Atkins. No detox, no cayenne pepper. No quick fixes and no magic pills.

I've eaten tacos at Taco Bell, double cheeseburgers at McDonald's, chicken sandwiches at Johnny Rockets, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Chinese take-out, popcorn with extra butter at the theater, pork chops and mashed potatoes, grilled salmon with broccoli and cheese, and fried chicken with corn on the cob. At the same time I've managed to cut my intake of cholesterol and saturated fat.

I've just eaten less. And exercised.

Amazing, isn't it?

1700 calories a day, give or take. And regular, vigorous exercise.

10 pounds in 3 weeks. And I plan on another 10 in the next month.

That's what I thought. I knew it!

I've actually been cutting back on calories, thanks to something you said in another thread. and I've been walking 3-5 times a week. I've lost 3lbs so far.

Yeah...wait till you stop loosing weight and start gaining muscle weight. That's me, well I never lost any weight just gained....but I went past a mark I have never been over and its scary!

Awww man that's so awesome... I'm gonna do the same thing..except its harder for women than it is for me... i guess we're like walking fat sticks... So I'm not gonna do the part where u eat all the foods that are bad for u even if you weren't overweight...and I'm exercising at the gym.... running...tennis and basketball...but yeah...those foods...ex-nay.... Good for you though man =D Congratulations

You've never had any extra fat to be lost though? From the way you talk it seems that you've always been fit and healthy.
