How much money would you need to stop working?

Hypothetically how big a lottery win would you need to live comfortably for the rest of your life? If in fact you would give up work, some people say they wouldn't although I'm not one of them

I think a couple million quid would convince me to quit my job, of course I'd probably hire a financial advisor and give them a percentage of whatever they make for me to encourage them to actually make money for me so I invested well.

What amount would you feel you need to have no money worries?

I'm not sure I'd want to give up working completely ... but a lottery win sure would give me a choice in what I did.

Let me put it like this. Also, be it known that I'll never say anything more sincere on this site than I will say right here.
I have a decade of time, countless dollars in tools, and gallons of blood, sweat, and tears vested in the trade we call HVAC (heat and air to most).
But if I won five million dollars tomorrow, I'd walk out the door without batting an eye. The time and tears are spent, but they can have the tools. 8)
