Do you cook the main meal at home everyday or do you eat out or buy takeaways more often?

Me or my dad make home cooked food almost everyday.

My mom and sister are actually the ones that do the takeout thing more.

I used to do the cooking for everyone when I was at home in the evening. Now that never happens anymore (either school or work keeps me away) so my dad took over

I cook almost every night. There are nights that I make a lot less effort because I'm too tired or can't be bothered.
I'll go out for food/to a friends once or twice a month. It's pretty expensive to eat out at the moment and I don't just have money lying around that I can afford to spend!

They don't like anything but cardboard and tofu chunks. Anything with more flavor than air is bad for you. Which goes right out the window when they go to the mall and buy sabarro's cheese-filled ravioli, soda and insta-meal "garlic"ish bread.

I'm too cheap to purchase take away food for myself.

But I only cook once or twice a week. I make a big crock of something I really like and eat it for several meals. Chili for breakfast and dinner. Or spaghetti, pasta fazole, homemade chicken noodle soup. Then I eat in front of the flat screen t.v. in the living room, usually with my dogs eyeing my dish.

I buy food from the cafeteria at work because it's actually pretty good and I get a 20 percent discount on it when they scan my employee identification badge.

I do like to take my loved ones out for dinner and I'll spare no expense for them. It's the price I pay for really good companionship and great conversation.

I cook about half the meals
But I didn't eat supper last week. So I didn't do any cooking then.
Rarely get takeout as I live outside a small town with nothing.
Sometimes I'll splurge and get a pizza delivered.

If you asked per month, I'd say twice my other half cooks mostly, take away is usually a treat or if neither of us can be arsed and we got the the money
