How do i burn a video DVD

I want to do the same thing with a CDROM. Copy that to a DVDR. Will the DVDR play in a regular dvd player?

Most software can only burn data DVD's (or most softwae i have used) but i dont think just copying it will work, it has to be in the right format and have otehr stuff done to it
but thats why this thread was created.

it comes with vista i assume, my bro has it on his laptop and its always been on my desktop.
nice little program, lets you put up some pretty nice menu screens.

Making DVD's isn't illegal, many people need such programs for home movies etc..
Copying copyright material onto dvd is illegal.

I have just got Vista recently and the only thing I can find is called Windows Movie Maker, is this what your talking about? I have been trying to learn about burning DVD discs .
