I'm gay and I LOVE one of my best friends. He's hinted me a few times by like kissing my hand, and telling me he's proud of me and stuff at the most random times. But I just don't want to ruin our friendship by asking him out. Any ideas to tell if he likes me?

But I don't want to hurt our friendship. If it was just some random guy I would. Also nobody knows im gay and if he rejects I doubt I'll have many friends when school starts again

Just step to him friendly and say you notice that he has been sending off little hints to you and you were wondering if they were real or not. If he ask why just tell him, it dosn't hurt for him to know.

If you really have a strong friendship he'll respect your for who you are, and he won't spread rumors or share personal information you've asked him to keep between the two of you. I don't know any straight guys who kiss each others' hands though.

Let me rephrasee that hand thing. It sounds a lttle odd. He made his hand look like a head then he kissed my hand. However after he did give me a lusty smile...Ok i'm gonna go with rainbows plan and annski is right if he really is my friend he shouldent care even if he is straight. Thanks everyone.

In Australia, a male does not just kiss another male or put an arm around each other as a matter of being mates. In Australia, two men who hold hands, any pecking, arm around each others back is a homosexual.

We Australian's don't have the european thing where men can cuddle and hug as mates.

Bloke means a man.

Bloke means a man.

Americans normally don't either. Hugging isn't uncommon for older guys who are very close, but cuddling and kissing are not usual activities for heterosexual males.
