maybe i am old fashioned but i really dont like to see kids dressed up as mini adults with all the make up and inappropraite clothes. to me, they seem to be stripped of their innocence and not allowed to be kids- they are made to act in a more mature way when they are not mentally there yet. and they shouldnt be becuse they are children biut it saddens me to see parents encouragian, almost pushing for their little girls to look like this, there is plenty of time when they reach their teenage years to dress like this

Sure! and for Halloween she can be a crack dealer! It's all in good fun, right?
Maybe when she's 4 she can wear this:

Honestly, it's the same mother who let THIS happen:

SHE'S TWELEVE.
Yes. 12.

I encourage you to watch it, it's disgusting.
And if you really can't handle the music, turn off the speakers and watch.

Who would let her twelve year old dress like a hussy, talk about shakin' her "boom boom" and dance provocatively? Idk. Maybe a mom who is living through her daughter or parents who's home is in foreclosure and will do anything (including selling their daughter) to maintain their lifestyle.

Agree with you 100%, Sparklegirl. I remember those times when I used to have some long talks with my teenager cousin. Scarcely had she turned eleven she already started to experiment with make - up. Kids at this age would often rebel against their parents and do exactly opposite of what they are told to do, that's why I've been asked for help. She calmed down a little bit but I could still see her dolled up every once in a while, while she prepared herself for a party. :/

to hear that makes me sad. i know a lot of people where i am see me as boring or a kill joy but if i am ever fortunate enough to have the children i would dearly love to have, i will make sure that they are dressed appropriately for their age. why can these parents not se on theose videos that they have a duty of care to their own children? yet they manage to exploit them as far as possible which is practically criminal. its so good to hear that you were able to have some sort of positive influence over your cousin- its people like you who should be used as role models rather than the celebrities they see on tv who are clearly not quite what the young generation should be following as a so caleld positive example

Behave will you,I've seen young women dressed like that and they aren't hookers but they will happily tell you it's fashionable.

I had a gal pal who, when she was in her 50's, dressed like a teenybopper.

Julia Roberts is seen as a role model after all she's the highest paid actress. Girls are bombarded with young females flaunting their bodies such as:

Jessica Simpson

Madonna

It's all the "glamor", money and fame young girls are taught and that their sexuality is what works. It's up to the parents to teach their children family values.

Meh. That show in general creeps me out, but this girl's get up wasn't any worse than any of the others. You think she even knew who pretty woman was? She doesn't understand that she was mimicking a prostitute, or even what a prostitute is.

Are you f***ing serious? This makes me want to literally puke. Who would let their little girl dress up, let alone like a hooker, and prance around on stage in front of people who think it's just okay?

There is no way in HELL I would let my daugter dress like that while she's in my house, let alone at that age. This type of culture freaks me out. Do they understand how many pedophiles could be watching this and thinking about their daughters? That thought alone just creeps me out.

These kids are thrown into this mess and I doubt anyone of them will ever get to live as a child, with a normal childhood. Even when they are older, they will never escape the fact that they pranced around on stage in provocative clothing at such a tender age.

Maybe it's because I'm a mother that I feel so strongly about the issue. It's sickening.

In my opinion, this is basically softcore child porn.
