Holier Than Thou

Never once has she hurt another living soul,
hurt them with her words, misconstrued their goal.

Oh, no, she's perfect, better than the rest,
how dare you tell her she's wrong, she's the best.

She doesn't really think that, she's full of pain
inside.
She's become so totally competent, her flaws she
tries to hide.

Oh, I have got her number, she's unsure of all her
acts,
So she takes it out on others accusing them of
lacking tact.

I've only come to realize the pain she's forced to
behold,
it's really very pitiful, I've watched this way
too long.

I'd like to open up to her and tell her how I feel,
you're a grownup now stop stuffing, that's not real.
