I made an amazing breakfast bowl yesterday...it had two scrambled eggs with diced ham, diced roasted yukon gold potatoes, green pepper, onion, a little bit of cheddar, avocado, and salsa verde. I felt great all day!

That sounds amazing.

I started working at an ice cream place recently and I've been having ice cream for breakfast recently. I had a breakfast shake with 2 scoops of Maple Walnut, milk and a quarter square of chocolate maple fudge from the gift shop next door. And it was really tasty!

I live in Vancouver too. There's a lot of vegans/hipsters here. I could totally seeing them having kale sorbet.

Kale isn't bad. Have that with some grilled chicken breast, mix it with a spring mix and us balsamic vinaigrette. Delicious

Kale is so last week.

Now it’s Moringa.

Actually, I did add that to my smoothie yesterday. It was super good.

My smoothie this morning turned into a carnitas taco with onion and guacamole. It’s been a rough day.

Homemade kale chips are awesome. I make some delicious ones, if anyone's interested.

It’s usually sold in powder form, near the protein powders. It’s the leaves of the Indian Moringa tree. High in vitamins minerals and protein. I usually add it to my smoothie but I’ve also mixed in soy milk in a latte like or with matcha. (I prefer soy to dairy milk) It a bit sweeter than matcha. Or maybe less bitter. Matcha is very bitter and needs a lot of sweetener to me. Starbucks has a matcha tea but it’s literally half sugar in the matcha mix so I make my own as I need to count the carbs.

Either way Moringa is very green and earthy in taste. In a smoothie the banana or other fruit takes the flavor, where Moringa brings the nutrition. I don’t think it has caffeine in it the way matcha does though.
