I got sacked after two weeks in my first job. Yes it was justified but I also got the job back two weeks later.

I haven't been fired, but I was made redundant once. I had worked for the company for only 3 weeks when they told me they were closing down the store in 3 weeks!

In my opinion, not justified! The company was Birthdays, bought out by Clintons Cards. And, since then, they seem to have systematically shut down Birthdays stores or converted them into Clintons stores, or started putting Clintons stock into Birthdays stores. Clearly, trying to make a monopoly.

I've heard Clintons are now in trouble. I'm not surprised - their cards are overpriced!
