My current best friend I've known since high school. For the first several months we knew each other though we were just parts of a larger group and I actually met him through the guy who'd been my best friend since fourth grade. The thing is that neither my best friend nor I have talked to my old best friend at all in a few years. I don't even really know what that guy is up to these days. I know that I have a lot more in common with my current best friend than my old one (which of course makes sense), but it just strikes me as odd how things played out. Anyone else have a similar experience?
