Well I'm related to Henry the VIII and Davy Crocket. I'd say they were a little more than naughty. A relative by the last name of Chalk ran off with Crocket giving a stain to the family reputation. My Aunt Ava would never allow his name to be mentioned. Everybody knows about Henry; not a nice man.
My father's mother eloped with my grandfather in 1899. She hid on a train while her brothers tried to chase down my grandfather. My father was born 8 mos later. We don't speak of that but everybody can count. They were married 60 yrs and had 3 kids. They were still crazy about each other until he died. She never got over his loss.
We have quite a few colorful family members but I'm tired.

One defendant was charged with Royal Offences > seditious libel

and apparently the family was into quite a bit of theft, burglary and larceny.. even the woman..

A few of them were stealing from their masters.. Humph..

There were a few charges of sodomy which I'm sure kept things interesting..

and one sick old coot served 3 years for the charge of incest.
