My cat, Krystable, passed away in 2009. At the time, Dexter and Romeo were still kittens.
Krystable used to sit at the door in the basement stairwell and chill to get away from the crazy kittens that had taken over her house. Dex and Romeo used to cry and bat at her on the other side of the door all the time.
After she passed, they both still did that occasionally. I'd see shadows about her size under the door all the time and sometimes (on my old bed) I'd feel a cat jump up at night but no cat would be on the bed.
This stopped for a while (except Dexter still cries under the door sometimes).
Well, this morning after I get out of the shower, I see him crying and batting under the door. When I walked up he ran away and I saw a shadow under the door.
My first though it was one of my mom's cats down there, but when I opened the door, the shadow was gone and I didn't see anyone down there.
I like to think Krystable is still hanging around the house. I really miss her so it's kinda comforting
