Just got an email back from MD State Delegate Eric Bromwell stating support for my idea of public registration or convicted animal abusers.
Another small victory for our FurBabies!

Hello Kristy and thank you for your e-mail. Should I be fortunate to return to the House of Delegates in 2011, I will absolutely support this sort of legislation. As the "Dad" of two rescue dogs, I can assure you my committee and I are in total agreement. Thanks again!

I wonder if that's like when kids used to send pop stars letters and they'd get back an 'autographed' photo with a letter!

Of course, the 'autograph' was a rubber stamp and the letter was sent by an assistant and the star never saw your letter.

That being said, even if the email was sent by a staffer, you still have the response saying that he'd support it. Hang on to that, Kristy.

The main difference between politicians in local ridings and politicians higher up is that those in local ridings tend to keep their promises more often.

I know how this thing goes, but I have gotten legit letters back (I'm very mch involved with Maryland State politics).

I don't LOVE it, but I do think it's important and patriotic to be involved.
