Gmail

Does anyone have a gmail account and if so do you like it. So far I really like it.

Wouldn't know, havn't got an account and no one will send me an invite

it's ok. I don't really use it much though, I think there's something about their interface i don't like but i can't figure out what it is exactly.

for the most part i love it but i dont like the fact that you cant send application files like movies and s*** like that i mean what is the purpose of being able to send such big files (it is either 20meg or 25meg unless they have changed that recently) if you can only send stuff like pictures


if there is a setting in the options that will allow me to send and recieve applications and s*** please let me know

I just had a look around. Seems quite smart actually, better than hotmail.

Demon: Couldn't find any options for allowing you to send music etc, try
zipping the files, theres probably something in the code that disables the
sending of .mp3, .avi, .mov etc.

no it picks them up even if they are zipped i tried to send my dad some pics and a video of my daughter and there was alot of pics so i zipped them and the vid up and it still picked it up and said it couldnt attach that type of file i have also tried installers and it wouldnt let me attach them either

Gmail has some nasty privacy issues, i like Gawab way more than gmail, bigger, faster....non invasive...

gmail seems ok to me

you dont need invites anymore my brother got on and signed up you just have to start clicking buttons at gmail.com

most people will still need an invite like i have said many times before some people are able to sign up without one but most people need the invite

which means that only a select few will be able to go to the site and sign up and if you cant you have to have an invite

Gmails ok. dont get many emails though
