Girls and Bi guys

Oh I know. I've talked to this girl before.

My fiance is bi and I have no problem with it. After I found out he was bi I still loved him. What we have is so strong that nothing can waiver the love we share for each other. He's a weird kind of bi though...he doesn't view it as terms of "man and woman", but in terms of who that person is on the inside. Gender is irrelevant. Personally, I found this to be a very nice quality. Someone who isn't judgmental, or vain, or worried about outward appearances is great. It just proves to me that what we have isn't so shallow that petty differences would keep us apart.

I wouldn't care, as long as he didn't mind staying straight with me and not venturing out for his bi-sexual needs..

And that is precisely why so many men LIE to their girls about it... lol. Statistically, there are very few 100% straight or 100% gay men/women... most fall inbetween anywhere from 1 to 99% on a sexual orientation spectrum. On Oprah, a few years back, it was revealed that 40% of 'straight' married men have same-sex contact to some degree DURING their marriage... sexual behavioral researchers put that number at closer to at least 60% - almost two-thirds. I'm in no way condoning being on the down-low (cheating) on your wife or SO (I prefer honesty)... just simply pointing out men know where they can get satisfaction if their spouse won't put out or satisfy them the way they want satisfied. You are in a cloud if you think it won't happen to you... I just hope you keep your man satisfied, because more and more men are not going to women in their extra-marital affairs as it is far too complicated... they are going to other men.

I've been shouted down on other forums before for this view - but on first impression, I would prefer to date a guy who was not bi.

The reason I feel this way is that many bi guys i know who are my age are not interested in being tied down to one sexuality, let alone one person. They are still finding themselves & have made it clear to me that they would never want to be tied down to one person- sexually or romantically.

If I met a bi guy who adored me and could convince me he was willing to be faithful it would be a different story.
