Girl dies as Israeli shell hits home

Shocked survivors told how the artillery shell smashed through the roof of a room where 12 children were gathered in the Ghaben family's house for safety.

"We were all in the TV room," said Jacqueline Marouf, 11, her hair matted with brick dust and her eyes staring with shock.

"That's where everybody hid, then a shell collapsed the walls. The wall fell on me. I don't know how many of the others were wounded," she said, staring at her injured friend, Amna Ghaben.

"There was a little hole and I climbed through it. I was afraid and shouting: 'Please help, take me home."'

Amid the chaos and the wailing as parents desperately searched for their children, no one had told either girl that one of their friends, seven-year-old Hadil Ghaben, had been killed.

Israel is a cancer that needs to be cut out. Simple as that.

The israeli government is not a good thing.
The goals of the israeli state are not good things.
The actions of the israeli war machine are not good things.

HOW can they expect us to belive they are good jews? I've MET good jews, they don't kill as a form of rethoric.

I don't understand how the west can let israel keep killing whoever they want to, whenever they want to, and expect to be believed in any other aspect of politics.

why can't we put international pressure on them to reform. Look at what happened in Ireland and South Africa, they resolved their own differences in time. Its just not israel's time yet

Its actually quite sad!!! I have a friend from Israel and I lived in jerusalem for about 2 moths!!! Its a beautiful country, with lots of intresting facts and it has great scenery!!! I much like the weather also!!! It was mostly around 35 degrees each day!!!

Right let's have a hypothetical situation. We have a group of badly abused people in Europe who decide that there best defence is to form their own state to make sure that never again they will be murdered en mass.

That group decide that as they are all great baseball fans that their new state will be in New York. They move there illegally but in vast numbers. Then they kick the New Yorkers out into the countryside and set up the State of the New York Yankees.

Anyone they see as a threat they shot.
World powers suck up to them to get free tickets to the games.
They don't care what the world's media think of them they have their own state.

In these circumstances would the people of New York be happy to be kicked out and then treated badly.

Somehow I think not. If the New Yorkers got together and fought back would they be terrorists?

It's nothing new for children to be killed by Israel. Previously they have deliberately targeted children, setting up outside a school and opening fire through the windows. Their excuse? There 'might' have been terrorists inside.

What is the difference between Israel and terrorists?

When you can say nothing constructive best say nothing.
