And I liked this comment too:
How come the tea party has the audacity to proudly name themselves the tea party,

since the the tea party basically were non indians who committed an act of deception

by dressing as Native People as to cast blame upon them and away from themselves?

The english word for this? is cowardice.

I would think that any Honest Person would understand this.

No Native Americans or anyone I know like being blamed for something they never did.

Hah'oo

Bin laden's code name was actually "Jackpot"
Still given that americans killed First Nations people defending their homeland.
It should not be used.

Huh? Jackpot is a gambling term. Haven't you ever played poker or been to Las Vegas? I don't see what that has to do with Indians at all.

Neither term is appropriate.

Neither term? Jackpot seems quite appropriate for Osama Bin Laden. But what is the other term you're talking about, and why are neither term appropriate?

Quote:
The origin of the word jackpot comes from a version of draw poker where a pair of jacks or better are needed to open the "pot" to start betting.

Quote:

Operation Jackpot, the name of several military operations
Operation Jackpot (drug investigation), the name of a federal task force during President Ronald Reagan's War on Drugs

I see nothing there that would make "Jackpot" either inappropriate or racist.

Strategic deception is quite different than cowardice, and while they did dress as indians, is wasn't necessarily to lay blame on them, more to disguise themselves in order to be able to continue committing acts of guerrilla warfare. Would you call a Navy Seal, or a Green Beret a coward for wearing native dress in order to deceive the enemy and complete a mission? None of it really had anything to do with indians. Your comments seem more akin to exploiting a set of facts in order to formulate an insult.

I never quite learned who Geronimo was but I was always under the impression that he was some one who died after falling from a great height.

Kind of like a "Hey ya all, watch this!" sort of thing.

Watched the video. That's cool. I'll have to wiki up who Geronimo actually was.

Every time I've heard the name it was in a cartoon whenever someone jumped from something.

Well all you can do is what you just did with this thread, try and inform.

Before I entered the topic I didn't even know that 'Geronimo' was Indian - I always thought it was just sky diving code for 'Starting my jump.'

It's deeper than just this. First Nation's people are insulted by the illegal euro-alien's progeny as mascots and condescendingly told how we are supposed act, behave or what we should look like.

Homey don't play that!

If history really does turn out to be fabricated and the Native Americans were far far far from the way history portrayed someone is going to get strangled at the end of the road.

Well not really I can post a link if you really want to know the legend of jumping and Geronimo. But a quick one is they saw a movie with actor playing Geronimo in it the night before The guy that started it yelled it all the way down so that others would know who and where he was. Then rest picked it up from there. I think it was the 82nd not the 101st Airborne div.
