Garlic, do you love it or hate it?

I'm a big fan but know how to kill the body smell afterwards.

Garlic has been used medicinally for centuries.

In herbal lore, garlic is some what of a panacea. It is a natural antibiotic (referred to as poor man's penicillin). It has anti-clotting and blood thinning properties that rival the drug Plavix, without side effects. It naturally balances cholesterol. It is a carmative (aids digestion and an indigestion remedy). It is very beneficial for the heart.

It is an all round "good guy".

There are many books on the subject of the natural benefits of garlic, but in most cases it must be used in the raw state, as cooking or heating destroy many of it's curative properties.

It also tastes pretty darned good when cooked with various dishes.

I like it, but don't like to smell it on other people.
It's funny how you can't smell it on someone if you have both eating it.
I wonder how many people like it because of the flavour, or because it's meant to have beneficial effects to our bodys? Me, I'm a health freak. Who would want to smell like that if it didn't have any benefits.

Garlic is fabulous! Perfect dressing...good taste and good for you: Olive oil, fresh garlic and a bit of balsalmic vinegar. Yum.
Really, it's the simple things I love.
