You get a screaming skull at random moments in the game. The first time this happened (a long, long time ago), I was playing it in the dark, and I nearly shat myself when it happened.

Also in the locker room in the school, in Silent hill for Playstation.

I was playing Alien vs Predator today and ended up blindly running into a dark room, as I turned around I saw a flash of shadow sweep through the light coming from hallway outside, proximity sensor bleeping and me trying to reload my gun and then I notice the Alien speeding across the walls, dodging my flash light while I frantically try to shoot it and finally it killing me while I'm still trying to understand what just happened, was probably the most tense, scary moment I've had in a long time.

Condemned messed with my head a lot, but it wasn't too good at making me jump.

The Resident Evil series definitely. I still jump now playing Resident Evil 5. Like, creeping around in a pitch black tunnel with a single flashlight beam, and then BOOM! There's someone trying to kill you.

Fallout 3 whenever I'd have to go through the subway system, because the Pip-Boy light is horrible. But I eventually stopped caring when my sneak was 100 and I had the Chinese stealth armor from Operation: Anchorage. I was completely invisible, so there wasn't anymore suspense.

The same thing as above applied for Oblivion. Going through a dark tunnel with bad torchlight. Until I had armor giving me 100% chameleon. Once again, I was invisible and it took away all the gut-wrenching fear of whatever was around the next corner.

Pretty much any game that has you creeping around in the dark with bad self-lighting and going around many corners makes my stomach wanna fall out, haha. But it's what makes them fun.

I heard Amnesia is the rated the scariest game ever made.. I want it

up to a point
because you have no guns or weapons you have no choice to run
but after a certain point you expect the monsteys to come out
had some good scares to start with though

Aliens Versus predator for the 360 not so much jumping as s***ting of my self while hearing the motion tracker going off then having an alien screaming at me then trying to rip me to shreds.
