Does anyone know of any web sites that were created using Microsoft's FrontPage? I am currently building a web site using this program, but I wanted to know how good I can make it look.

why don't you use dreamweaver, it is loads better than frontpage. If you talk to any web designers they will tell you frontpage is cheating, and dreamweaver is the program of choice.

I know frontpage is 'cheating' but it's been 5 years since I did web design at uni and I don't have a lot of time.

I think a lot of websites are built using frontpage. Certainly that's what I was being taught to use at school.

We were in the middle of a project on it when we realised that the web-hoasting server we were going to upload the website we'd been making wouldn't let us! Lol.

but I think it is quite a good program, certainly cheaper than dreamweaver as I've heard, though personally I use MS word.

Good luck with the website!

Why wouldn't they?

Well, I think the reason was that they didn't have the frontpage page extentions installed on their server.

In a tutorial we read, it said that we could upload stuff to servers without these extensions, but I believe we had to use an FTP address or something like that. I don't think that worked though.

Our ICT teacher looked on the net after that for another host that supports front page content, and he said the only ones he could find you had to pay to use, so your best bet is to try paid hosting if you're looking for services like that.

Yeah most of the free hosts have their own web building programs that you can use.

Yep I find those quite useful.

We had to copy and paste our text and pictures across to one of those in the end.

So what's your website going to be like then? Is it going to be your own personal one, or is it for like an organization?

I am paying for my hosting, but until I open an account I can't access the web building program, which is dreamweaver. I'm not really into web designing I just want to create a web site.
P.s. It's a secret.
