I highly recommend downloading and using these on at least a monthly basis. They are all free.

I suspected that something was on my computer so I downloaded and ran all 4 of them (CCleaner first, then Spybot, Malwarebyte, the Housecall last) and every one of them found something on my computer. Lots of temp files I didn't need (880mb worth), 5 Trojan spy bots, 3 Worms, and tons of Malware. Now my computer is running as it should.

well i kept getting these odd see through like windows everytime i went to log off and shut my pc down for the night.

I can't agree with Finchmeister more on this one,Spybot and also another program Super Anti Spyware both caused my Computer all sorts of grief.

Ccleaner is something I run every night before shutting down and also Malaware Bytes,both these programs are worth their weight in Gold for my money.

Just as a Footnote to this thread,malwarebytes has another tool in it called "File Assassin"in the Tab "more tools"

If you have something that gives you grief and you can't get rid of it,use it and it's gone.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I still shiver at the thought of spy bot.

Because it found lots of keystroke bots monitoring my every keyboard keystroke. I should have taken a screen shot of every scan and posted it with the original post. I will next time.

Then after you do the Install "Run" a full Scan of your Computer.

With Spybot it could well be false postives.

I have Spybot but only use it for the immunize function(as recommened) not for scanning,I leave that up to Malwarebytes and my Anti-virus.
