I don't have Firefox set to automatically clear private data, I usually just deleted around the end of every week, but this week I noticed I couldn't delete it, if I try, Firefox crashes and says it cannot delete history.

I have tried the short cut key "shift+alt+delete", I even tried to set it to automatic clear data whenever I close the window, but every time I would leave firefox it would crash and fail to clear any data at all.

I looked it up on google, couldn't find anything though, anyone know what's up or have had this happen to them?

Wouldn't I loose everything I have book marked? I'd rather just keep all my history.

You can backup the bookmark to a file, look under Organise Bookmark, top right of the window that pops up

What version of Firefox do you have installed?

You have to click on Tools then Error Console. There you can see what might be a specific cause for your problem, then google it.

Have you tried Firefox Forum to see if your problem has happened to others and possibly find an answer in there??

Use disk cleanup. That should get rid of all the net stuff.

No, it doesn't have any errors, I have sent a report out a couple times though. No, didn't try Firefox forum, I'll check it.

This is very good advice and possibly a defrag would be in order also. Just clean your comp right up...
