I'm not sure what you mean by movement. Are you talking about art periods or genres? If so, I love Roccoco art, Picasso's rose period, Picasso's blue period, Cubism, The Hudson River School, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism.

Hard to say. I love the Surrealists, the Pre-Raphs and some of the Old Masters. I'm fond of a lot of 20th century stuff e.g. Eric Ravilious, Odilon Redon and Andrew Wyeth. I'm just not very good at making my mind up.

movement style would definitely have to be the impressionist movement, especially Degas and Monet but any period wise would be the baroque period, especially the sculptures.

I love the Dutch masters, though that is not answering your question.

My favourite artists (ones who I would like to paint like) is Chaim Soutine, and Kokoshka. Not sure which movement you would place them, expressionist? I suppose the artist that you could say is a development on their art is Francis Bacon. I also like Chagall, and Van Gogh, but its hard to put the great artists in to a universal category?, dont you think??

it isn't a very hard choice for me, dadaism by far! I love marcel duchamp so much even if he didn't intend it to be a movement as such, he did set out to destroy art so yeah. One thing that he is quoted to have said has stuck with me since I heard it and it is that "art is whatever the artist says it is"

I enjoy many styles but I really like cubism, neo-classical and impressionism/post-impressionism

My favourite movements are from the ancient times - the Archaic period of Greek art (600-480BC) and the Cycladic art (c.900BC). Obviously I like more modern periods, but my favourites are definately Archaic and Cycladic.

I adore Renaissance art. It is very complex and it's not an easy period as one may think.

German Expressionist cinema. I just love early 20's german films. That's probably why I love Tim Burton. He has a very obvious interest in expressionism.
