Favorite book that you were forced to read in school/college

The Great Gatsby and The Scarlett Letter were probably my favorite. But i absolutely HATED Catcher in the Rye!!

I read Last of the Mohicians for a book report in high school and loved it.

To kill a mockingbird, by harper lee..excellent book..ooh and shakespeare's Macbeth..

Flight of the Grey Goose, was purely inspirational

I had to read 'goodnight mister tom' but I actually realli enjoyed it

i loved The Grapes Of Wrath.... partly because i was the only one who liked it and i could rub that in my friends' faces :]

ooo, grapes of wrath was good. My favorite was Beowulf though. Totally awsome.

I absolutely loved Grapes of Wrath!! Of course I love all things Steinbeck he is my absolute most favorite author. I really enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird as well, very neat story there...actually I enjoyed most of the books we read in school. Except for maybe Lord of the Flies. But we did get to watch a parody of that from the tv show The Simpsons...that was awesome...I really liked the teacher that showed us that!!

Oh wow, where do I begin?

Bridge to Terabithia was one of my faves. To Kill A Mockingbird. Loved shakespeare. Emma. The Scarlet Letter, though I had already read this myself. The Chocolate War was good. Also there was one set in the opal fields at Coober Pedy, but I can't remember the name.

If you haven't guessed, I loved English class...lol.
